If 2014 Immaculate Football’s first two days on the marketplace are any indication, the final, furious stretch of Panini America’s 2014 NFL release calendar promises to close the season with a massive bang. Thursday morning, the day after the debut edition of Immaculate Football went live, Sports Cards Plus owner Charlie DiPietro told The Knight’s Lance that sales of Immaculate Football combined with the tip-off of Panini America’s 2015 NBA Starting 5 promotionaccounted for the single-biggest sales day in his store’s 23-year history.

Across the social media universe, Immaculate Football is now in its third straight day of generating one jaw-dropping Tweet, Facebook post and Instagram pic after another. In related news, D.J. Kazmierczak, Panini America’s Vice President of Sales, and Kevin Haake, the company’s Director of Hobby Sales, confirmed earlier today that 2014 Immaculate Football is already sold out; they also announced sell-outs on 2014 Immaculate Baseball and 2014 National Treasures Baseball.

Clearly, the marketplace is responding to Immaculate Football like it seems to respond to the Immaculate brand in any sport: With resounding acceptance. Today, we’re going to fan the flames of 2014 Immaculate Football just a little bit more by showcasing some of the late-arriving Immaculate autographs that narrowly missed packout. Among them? Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel (who was issued in Immaculate Football as a redemption and whose cards are already being fulfilled) and San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde (whose cards will be added to the Panini Rewards site along with other late Immaculate arrivals).

But this particular post is about more than just 2014 Immaculate Football. It’s also about sharing just some of the reasons why Panini America’s terrific trio of season-ending releases (2014 Spectra Football, 2014 Black Gold Football and 2014 National Treasures Football) are starting to generate a little pre-release excitement of their own.

Enjoy the array of images that follow and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional coverage.
