Talked to a collector at the Penrith card show a couple of weeks ago and he asked me about error cards, so got me thinking to try and find out how many error cards are out there, going back to the Scanlen years till today, so post any that you know of and see if you can make a comprehensive list of them...

1992 Regina - Card 71 Paul Harragon had details of card 50 Andrew Langford on the reverse (and vice versa) some corrected cards were in packs

1992 Regina Rod Wishart - spelt Rob on back

2010 Select Champions Common Chris Bailey card has the Maroon Stipes missing down the left hand side that are suppose to be on the common cards, there is also no shadow effect around the player like the other players (pictured on page 7) No replacement

2011 Select Strike Ben Teo common (Alex glenn pictured)

2011 Daily Telegraph card Ben Lowe Souths (Jaiman Lowe pictured)

2012 Select Champions Martin Kennedy Sticker Parallel & Gold parallel (Shaun Kenny-Dowall pictured)

2012 Select Dynasty Bill Tupou spelling mistake (Topou on back of the card)

2012 ESP Limited Edition had some misprinted parallels whereby the players name has been printed twice, but offset horizontally, making the names really difficult to read.

2013 ESP Traders Andrew John's Signature card spelling error. Replacement available

2013 ESP Traders ALL Johns and Raper Legends Case Cards printed with wrong club emblems on the reverse. (ESP claimed it was done this way on purpose and would not admit to it been an error, then changed it for the case cards the following year)

2013 ESP Elite Tim Mannah Triple Threat (Tim Mannah pictured twice instead of Hayne) replacement available

2013 Sunblest Tazos Raiders Josh Dugan (replaced by Jarrod Croker) and Panthers Michael Jennings (replaced by Tim Grant) were replaced in the set for off field behaviour and before season transfer respectively. Dual player cards for these teams were also replaced.

2014 ESP Traders Tim Simona common, parallel and black parallel (David Nofoluma pictured) Replacement available

2014 ESP Traders Parallel Jamal Idris section of the card isnt foil

2014 ESP Traders Parallel Special Braith Anasta has no Traders logo on the front

2014 ESP Traders IND6 Will Chambers has a spelling error in the text on the back

2014 ESP Powerplay Matt Robinson Common (Adam Docker pictured)

2014 ESP Powerplay Numbering is out for the last 14 cards. Warriors and Tigers cards affected (The binder also has this error)


Misprint Cards:

1989 Stimorol Barry Russell details on the back printed upside down

1991 Paul Conlon card, completely blank on the back of the card

1994 Dynamic Masters Captain's Choice, has the holographic writing on the back by mistake

2004 Select Authentic Bryce Gibbs Future Force signature. Some of the cards are missing the select logo and/or the future force logo

2005 Select Power some cards that have just the player and the background. No writing etc at all.

2006 Select Invincible All star Mark Gasnier some cards were printed upside down onto a JDC parallel

2006 Tazos Upside Down Logos

2008 Select Centenary Commons - some have the gold embrossing missing or misprinted

2008 Select Centenary Platinum commons from masters sets limited to 250 - some have the gold embrossing missing or misprinted

2009 Select Champions JDC Parallel Lachlan Coote on the front John Sutton on the Back

2009 tazo. Some had a line through the foil background. The pattern was off. Sort of overlapping

2010 Select Champions JDC Parallels some were printed upside down and with the wrong team logo on the back

2011 Select Champions Rookie Cards (Printing stuff up) there were a heap of Cards with different Fronts to their Backs e.g. Hopoate on front Masoe on back

2012 Select Dynasty Commons some were released in packs with no Player names or team names

2014 ESP Elite Matt Moylan Signature #49/130 has no name and no dog tag printed on it
