In the span of about three years, Panini America’s popular Prizm brand has developed into one of the collecting industry’s most popular products across all four major sports. But the fact that Prizm launched on the hardwood during the 2012-13 NBA season make’s Prizm Basketball a product-portfolio staple and true must-have stuff. And all of that makes this first look at the upcoming 2014-15 Prizm Basketball pretty major stuff.

2014-15 Prizm Basketball is set to release in early December and every hobby box of 2014-15 Prizm Basketball (five cards per pack, 20 packs per box) delivers one hobby-exclusive Rookie Autograph, 14 Prizm parallels (including at least two numbered Prizms), two inserts and two SPs. Hobby-exclusive Prizms for 2014-15 include Purple Die-Cut (numbered to 139), Blue (numbered to 99), Red (numbered to 49), Gold (numbered to 10) and Black (numbered to only one).

New to Prizm this year is the rare SP set honoring current NBA stars, rookies and Hall of Famers, and the high-upside potential of the vibrantly colored Fireworks insert. Also find other exciting inserts such as Freshman Phenoms and Superstars. We’ll have plenty more to preview on 2014-15 Prizm Basketball in the coming weeks and months right here on The Knight’s Lance. But until then, enjoy this extended first look at the product . . .
