One look, even the slightest glimpse, of Panini America’s Prime Ties insert annually incorporated into Prime Hockey and you’ll understand why popular Yahoo Sports! blog Puck Daddy once called Prime Ties “among the coolest hockey cards ever.” Three years into the magnificently crafted concept and Prime Ties is still innovative enough to leave your tongue tied and your stomach in knots — especially if you’ve been lucky enough to pull one of the 1/1 gems from a pack.

Many collectors across North America have experienced that thrill with the recently released 2013-14 Prime Hockey and have waited patiently but anxiously for their new Prime Ties card to arrive. Well, late yesterday afternoon it did. They all did. All 90 masterful cards arrived safely and soundly at Panini America HQ and will begin arriving in collectors’ hands next week.

In the gallery that follows, we share with you every card in featured in the 2013-14 Prime Hockey Prime Ties insert set, a stunning amalgamation of aglets and eyelets and gromets and history; cards so cool and so thick that they simply can’t fit safely into a box of 2013-14 Prime Hockey. No, these babies deserve special shipping and handling.

Included in this year’s edition of Prime Ties are game-worn jersey laces from the likes of Tyler Seguin, Henrik Lundqvist and Dustin Byfuglien, and event-worn jersey laces from the most heralded members of the epic #PaniniDoubleRookieClass (Nathan MacKinnon, Alex Galchenyuk, Sean Monahan and more).

Check them all out below and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional coverage.

I think these will be easy for packet searchers to find.
