The icon is ready for another run. In late July, Panini America’s high-end heat-seeker known as National Treasures Basketball returns to the marketplace, equipped with its usual host of captivating calling cards (including a bold, new RPAs and legendary Logoman gems) and a few new surprises headlined by the debut of the Sneaker Swatches insert incorporating pieces of game-worn shoes from the NBA’s biggest superstars.
Each 10-card box of 2013-14 National Treasures Basketball will deliver eight autograph or memorabilia cards. Other new attractions in this year’s release include the Kobe’s All-Rookie Selections insert, Treasured Tags Autographs, and Dual and Trio Laundry Tag cards numbered to five or less.
We’ll have plenty more to preview on 2013-14 National Treasures Basketball in the coming weeks right here on The Knight’s Lance. But in an effort to set the table for the juggernaut that follows, we’ve provided an extensive first look at the product in the gallery below. After you’re perused the initial preview mock-ups, stick around for the world-premiere first glimpses of the set’s vaunted RPAs in their unsigned state. The next time you see them, they’ll be autographed works or art.
