Break Line Up:

• 2021 Upper Deck Skybox Metal Universe Champions Hobby Box

Break Rules:

• There will be 15 spots available. This is a random break. Each spot will get a pack randomly assigned done live during the break.
• A pack will first be opened, then via balls a name will be randomly drawn to see who got the content of the previously opened pack.
• Price of listing includes standard postage, toploaders, penny sleeve, padded envelopes.
• If you want tracked postage it will be $5.00 extra or if you want express postage it will be $6.00 extra.
• You are free to trade teams after the random draw.
• All cards will be sent out.

How to watch the break and trade teams (where applicable):

• All the breaks are streamed live and can be watched on Gimko via Channel 1 or Channel 2.
• If you cannot watch live and miss the break you can watch the replay on our YouTube channel.
• For break date and time, channel used, and to trade teams (where applicable), check out the Gimko Forum or the Gimko Facebook Page for all information.

How do I pay to enter a break?

• For Gimko Breaks, the main acceptable payment method is via PayPal, which will either allow you to use your PayPal balance, Bank Balance, Credit Card (if linked) and PayPal's Pay In 4 if your account has been approved for by PayPal.
• If you do not have a PayPal account, then you can checkout and pay via a Credit Card as a guest on the PayPal payment portage page.

• AfterPay is available on request, so send us a message, however Gimko is charged a 6% fee to use it. To keep break costs down for everyone, we ask that if you want to use this service, that you agree to pay 3% extra to cover half the fee.

Been watching for a while, decided to enter this one - bought and paid for 2 spots, just wondering how we pay for tracked postage? I couldn’t change the dollar value of the amount requested (unless I missed it somehow). Cheers!

Good side question.

 

Usually they fill but the last 4 months have been a bit slow after COVID and inflation going up.

 

The breaks that have taken a while in the past to sell eventually have filled.

 

I know some other breakers run Razzes/Minis/Comps (whatever name you want to call it) and some breakers just take the remaining spots to run the breaks quicker. However we don't Razz here for the main reason that was advices that razzing technically is illegal without a permit as it's deemed a raffle. We had some breakers tell us they got pulled up on it too, so we don't go down that path and risk the same.  

 

As for going in our own breaks, that is more a moral issue as hate for the biggest hit to go to the breaker. It wouldn't be a nice feeling for the others in the break. Maybe we over think this one too much but just how we feel about it personally. Do you have any views on this point yourself?

Yep fair enough on Razzes - encountered the same issues in some other trading card groups =)

Yeah going in own breaks is an interesting one - I can see both sides. To fill it for people in it might be ok, but if you do get the biggest hit then it’s an awkward one, even if all proper live protocols are followed - so I can 100% understand not going into your own!

I’ll keep checking in on the break to see where we’re up to - I’ll probably buy more spots if it goes for long enough haha.
